  This is a local pub in Pickering and has been renovated by the new owners. Friendly service and good prices on drinks and food. It is a restaurant as well as a pub. There are drink specials almost every day. This what I'd call a character pub.

  I was a regular for several years at one point.
  
  Until I walked in with a few friends, ALL SOBER, was told we would not be served because we had too much to drink.
  
  I was then asked for my ID by someone that didn't appear to be any type of worker or security. Sorry, if you're in completely plain clothes and asking for my ID, you're not getting it.
  
  Ever since the new ownership, the place has been crap, you're food order will ALWAYS come out wrong, and all the old cooks were apparently fired (not sure if 100% true).
  
  Good job screwing it up!

  I was a daily customer but unfortionitly the bar tender with the scottish accent has a ignorant attitude problom that it just pushs me away from the pub. Aslong as she is employed there I wouldnt recomend it to anyone
