  Beautiful location and decor. Food is well prepared, but pricey for the portion. Chaotic reservations: have had to wait every time despite a reservation, in one case 45 minutes.

  My husband and I decided to go to Port for our New Years Eve dinner since we had eaten at their sister restaurant "Maple Leaf Tavern" and absolutely love it! However, we were both quite disappointed with Port. The service was great, but the food was far from stellar. The food was very bland and desperately needed seasoning. The tomato soup was super sour – it tasted like raw tomato paste. The poached fish lacked any taste and sat on a bed of boiled cubed carrots and potatoes. The butternut squash ravioli was dry and chewy and the accompanying cream sauce also lacked any flavour or seasoning. We thought the dessert trio would be the redeeming dish but instead of being bland, it was overly sweet and lacked consistency in appearance and texture. We expected more especially for such an expensive dinner. It's safe to say that we won't be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone.

  Went here for the first time on the weekend with my friends. It wasn't too busy for 7pm but the service was great and the food came out promptly. Everything tasted really good.
