- 3 / 5By Bess TVisited this bakery on my way home . Was excited to finally see a Greek bakery in Durham. The service was great everyone was very helpful . However the Greek desserts were a disappointment I bought diples when I got home and tried them they were very hard and drenched in syrup and honey tasted more like a sweet egg roll. Diples are fried but flaky with light syrup and walnuts . The other desserts such as kourabiethes and malamakarona were not pleasing looking . There are so many other desserts that were missing like galaktobouriko and the diplota didn't see any spinach or cheese pies which are a staple in Greek bakeries . I guess time will tell.August 28, 2016
