  The best west Indian cuisine in Durham region. They have a range of items from their menu from the fry rice to the wings and been pleased with everything, Also the hot sauce is great. On the weekends this place is nice and chill to hang out have a few drinks. Service could be slower on the weekends however

  The early breakfast food was ok. The staffs that was there were great but overwhelmed. They need to ensure the dining tables are clean as people finished eating making sure there's ample dinnerware available. At least have two coffeemaker going not a lot of people like tea. I had to wait so long for a cup of coffee this morning I had to end up having coke with my damn bake.

  I've been to Island Mix a few times, and every time I go it's the same thing. We sit there waiting for at least 30 minutes until we eventually have to call someone over. I'm sure you can afford a few more servers with all the money you make. This is definitely my last time going there. Very bad service.

  The waiter took extremely long to take our order. He was completely unattentive and at the end of the night he dropped a bunch of chicken wings all over my legs and shoes and did not even say sorry or offer anything. Completely ridiculous. I would consider myself a patient and forgiving person but this service is unforgivable. Never coming back again. Not worth the food at all. You can get better food and service anywhere else

  Nice Atmosphere. Relaxed vibe. A bit overwhelming because Fridays are extremely busy there was a long wait in between our orders bout overall satisfied, happy with food and inviting staff
